30. From Proving to Power: The 5 Steps to Owning Your Voice

This week on the podcast, I’m diving into a framework that can change how you see yourself: the stages of owning your voice.

Owning your voice is not a single moment. It is not a light switch you flip, and suddenly you are free. It is a process that shifts and deepens as you move through life. There are stages.

Times when you rely on other people’s approval before you trust yourself. Times when your truth comes out louder and sharper than you intend. Times when you are finally living what feels true, but you still glance over your shoulder for validation.

And then there are times when staying quiet is simply no longer an option, even if it means losing people along the way.

And eventually, there is a stage where your voice feels steady, where you belong to yourself first. Where your truth no longer needs permission to exist.

That is what this episode is about: how we move through these different seasons of voice, how each one teaches us something we need, and how to see ourselves with more compassion wherever we are in the process.
