This tool first emerged during a session with one of my brilliant clients. As we explored how she spent her time—and, more importantly, how she felt about each activity—something became clear: she was assigning judgment to certain tasks while holding others in higher regard, even when they didn’t align with what she actually needed.

That’s where the Energy Engagement Matrix comes in. It offers a new way to understand time and energy, breaking them into four distinct modes, without labeling them as “good” or “bad.” Instead, labeling them as intentional choices that shape how we move through life.
Because it’s not just what we do—it’s why we do it.
